We've been quite busy in the last few weeks after the Halloween event, occupied with mostly business-related stuff. One of them was attending G-Star. G-Star is basically Korea's E3, the biggest gaming event in Korea. This year they broke the record hosting more than...I don't know...many many high-school students as you can see in this picture.
Unfortunately we didn't get to take make pictures as we were quite busy but not busy enough to miss this.
To be honest, inside on the showfloor, it was all about PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS which is actually not a bad thing for the Korean gaming industry as it has changed how the game is played in Korea where mobile is still where the big boys play.
We also noticed that HTML5 is beginning to get some attention mostly because recently famous IP-based H5 games have been hugely successful in China. How this will affect Mad World remains to be seen...
Thanks =) It's always a pleasure attending G-Star. Busan is a great city.
